Work steadily progresses at the Central Gardens area being developed at the world famous Dunn’s River Falls and Park, St. Ann. In September 2015 the Urban Development Corporation (UDC), owners and operators of the Park through its associate company the St. Ann Development Company signed a contract with Chin’s Construction Company Limited for the development of the attraction. The scope of works will see the establishment of additional locker sheds for rental, a landscaped site with themed gardens, a picnic area with rental kiosks, recreational gazebos, and shoe rental and video and photo sales facilities and an interactive water feature for children at play. Since 1998, the UDC has been engaged in major upgrading of the property with a view to ensuring parity with other world class attractions and enriching the Dunn’s River experience.
