Runaway Bay has a newly refurbished and improved diner and restaurant catering to the needs for quick, nutritious, competitively priced meals everyday of the week.
St Elmo’s Restaurant on Runaway Bay Commercial Centre, near the cross roads, Runaway Bay, has been refurbished and has spruced up its menu, adding new delectable items of food and drink.
The restarant is still the franchise holder for Juci Patties and pastries.
The new St Elmo’s was reopened on Saturday, August 20, with a reception at which patrons and guests from all over St Ann were provided with refreshment in the courtyard of the plaza. Murdock Supreme Sound played music with MC Kmarii working hard to pump up the fun.
Managing director of St Elmo’s and the plaza complex, Othneil Lawrence said that his company had listened to suggestions of patrons at the restaurant and decided to make improvements for customers. Physical improvements to floor tiles, counters and layout in the serving area have been complemented by changes to the menu. Seafood and Chinese have been added to the menu of mainly Jamaican favourites.

Weekdays from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Fridays and Saturdays , 7a.m. – 11 p.m
Sundays noon to 8 p.m.
The restaurant now has themed days, with Jamaican Cuisine available everyday.

Friday: Yardie Style
Saturday: Seafood
The grounds of the complex are also available for receptions and parties.
At the re-launch of St Elmo’s Saturday, patrons also benefited from samples and giveaways by energy drink brands, provided by Run Com Energy Store, next door to the restaurant.
